Carla Cantrelle is an actor, a playwright, a novelist and an aerial performer. She has appeared at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 5 times, often in her own plays, in films and on television. Her plays have received rave reviews -- as well as grants -- and so has her company Traveling Light Productions. As a fiction writer she has participated in Francis Ford Coppella's Zoetrope All-Story Writers Conference and the prestigious Breadloaf Writers Conference. Her trapeze work has been highlighted in Spectacle (the circus trade publication) and she is the co-producer of the long-running highly successful aerial variety show ABOVE THE BELT at The Zipper.
