David Jenkins

David Jenkins is a New York based playwright, producer, and founding member/Artistic Director of Human Animals. His plays have been shortlisted for the O’Neill, P73 and developed by the Lark Theater and IRT, and EST. His first play, Middlemen, was produced at New Jersey Rep to critical acclaim, translated into Belarusian by the Belrus Free Theatre, and will premier in Chile and Norway in 2014. His play Post Office was named one of “The Top Ten Off-Off Broadway Productions of 2011” by the late Tom Murrin of Paper Magazine. As an actor, he has worked on stages throughout the country, including San Francisco’s ACT and Yale Rep. He holds an MFA from NYU’s Graduate Acting Program. David’s plays include: Middlemen, Small Claims, Post Office, Laissez-Faire and the forthcoming Pinewood.
